44a+32=40a+40,

44a-40a=40-32,

4a=8,

a=2,

Mohit's age=11×2=22 yrs,

Mayank's age=8×2=16 yrs

after 8 yrs mohit's age will be 11x+8 mayank's 8x+8
so 11x+8÷8x+8=5÷4 now solve x and just multiply by 11 and 8 for mohit and mayank's age resp.
