Let the present age of ram be x and of Rahim be y :
x/y = 6/5
5x = 6y
5x-6y = 0
6 years ago;
2(x-6) = (y-6)
2x - 12 = y-6
2x-y= 6
12x-6y=36
5x-6y = 0

7x = 36
x=36/7
x/y = 6/5
5x = 6y
5x-6y = 0
6 years ago;
2(x-6) = (y-6)
