⬤ Four years from Now , Ratio of their ages will be 3:4.

To Find :

⬤ Present Age of Mahi and Nani .

Solution :

Let :

• Age of Mahi be = 5x.
• Age of Nani be = 7x .

Four years Later :-

• Age of Mahi will be = 5x + 4
• Age of Nani will be = 7x + 4

Now :

$\sf{\dfrac{5x+4}{7x+4}=\dfrac{3}{4}}$

By Cross Multiplication :-

4(5x + 4) = 3(7x + 4)

20x + 16 = 21x + 12

20x - 21x = 12 - 16

-x = -4

x = 4

Therefore , The Value of x is 4 .

Hence ,

Age of Mahi = 5x

= 5(4)

= 20

Age of Nani = 7x

= 7(4)

= 28

Therefore , Age of Mahi is 20 years and Age of Nani is 28 years .
