Draw  a line AB of length more than 15 cm.  From A draw an arc (to cut AB) at C, with a radius of 15 cm.

Now follow the procedure to draw perpendicular bisector DEF of AC. E is the intersection of perpendicular with AC.   AE = 15 /2 cm

Now draw again the perpendicular bisector FGH  of AE.   G is the point of intersection of FE with AE.

The length AG is equal to  15/4 cm/
