president is the commander of armed forces.i doubt if president can even lift a heavy gun.what is the point to make him the commander?

The fact that you believe a president can't lift a gun is probably true but it doesnt matter really. He appoints generals that make the moves but have to get executive order from the president. Its been like this since we wrote the constitution, but it hurts when an idiot like Trump wants to abuse thus title.
