Pressure groups are very syricly organised and goal oriented group of people who jointly voice their opinions and pressurise the government to surrender to their demands.Pressure groups use non violence methods like satyagraha,slogans,media,dharnas etc.to express their demands strongly.Pressure groups are not political parties but at times they collaborate with some political parties to express their opinions.
In tripura many student unions,all India trade associations,tea garden labour unions have been voicing their opinions.Most of the pressure groups vanished after elections.Many were organised just before elections.
