in the poem ozymandias , the poet himself proud that he was undefeatable and also that all his citizens will praise him even after his death .. but the irony is that , the only thing left was the broken pieces of his own statue , even nature hated him

In the poem ozymandias Shelly clearly demonstrates how the forces of nature destroy everything with time.the shattered sculpture of ozymandias declares “I am ozymandias king of kings “ “look upon my works and despair” but there is nothing left but sand. The once mighty empire has been reduced to sand in an endless desert. Thus the poem clearly demonstrates how ozymandias’ pride was broken down by nature
