• Primary activities are those which are associated with the extraction and production of natural resources.

• Ex- Agriculture,mining,hunting and gathering etc.

TERTIARY ACTIVITIES

• Tertiary activities are those activities which provide support to primary and secondary activities through service.

• Transportation, health care, food service, retail sales, advertising, entertainment, tourism, banking, law, etc.
