Answer:

Prince sold 5600 , Clive sold 5480 and John sold 400.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the no. of sales of Prince

Let y be the no. of sales of clive

Let z be the no. of sales of John

Now we are given that their total sales is 11480

So, x+y+z=11480  ---1

Now we are given that Prince sold 120 more than Clive.

x = y+120  ---2

We are also given that Clive and John combined sold  280 more than Prince

y+z=280+x

Substitute the value of x from 2

y+z=280+y+120

z=400

Substitute the value in 1

So, x+y+400=11480

x+y=11480-400

x+y=11080

Substitute the value of x from 2

y+120+y=11080

2y = 10960

y= 5480

Substitute the value of z and y in 1

x+5480+400=11480

x=5600

Hence Prince sold 5600 , Clive sold 5480 and John sold 400.
