 \frac{p \times r \times t}{100}

 \frac{20 \cancel{00} \times 10 \times 2}{ \cancel{100} }

20 \times 10 \times 2 = 400

interest = 400rs

si =  \frac{p \times r \times t}{100}

si =  \frac{2000 \times 10 \times 2}{100}

si = 20 \times 10 \times 2

si = 400
