After 5 years,

Priya's age will be (x+5) years.

Priya's mothers's age will be (5x+5) years.

Therefore, Btp,

(5x+5) = 3(x+5)

=> 5x + 5 = 3x + 15

=> 5x - 3x = 15 - 5

=> 2x = 10

=> x = 5

Priya's current age is 5 years.
Priya's mothers's current age is 5×5 = 25 years.
