HOLA sis!!
Rajdeep here.....
A pair of dice is rolled, so two dices are rolled.
In one dice, there are six surfaces.
Since two dice are rolled,
Total Possible Outcomes (TPO) = 6² = 36
Now, outcomes in which sum will be 4:
(1,3), (2,2), (3,1)
So, number of favourable outcomes (NFO) = 3 (Since there are three chances).
Now, Probability = NFO/TPO
= 3/36
= 1/12
Hence, the probability is 1/12
Thanks!!
Hope my answer is satisfactory (^_^)
