The required answer will be 1 or zeo because in probability getting sure event is 1 and for impossible is zero. but this type of questions is not correct as for exam only depend on their intelligence or labour.

this question is quite unclear.Though I am trying to point out some possibilities :-

If 0.5 marks can also be awarded

then,total possibility = 0 to 100 ( including 0,0.5,1,1.5) = 202.


In this case,probability = 1/202



and,when only marks in whole number is awarded :-

total possibility = 101.

thus,probability = 1/101. Ans.
