 ★ {\pmb{\underline{\sf{ Required \ Solution ... }}}} \\

As We know that Train will covered a distance of 300 km in 5 hrs and it's Speed is uniform for the entire journey.

  • Distance = 300 km
  • Time taken = 5 hrs

 \circ \ {\underline{\boxed{\sf\gray{ Speed = \dfrac{Distance}{Time \ Taken} }}}} \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ \dfrac{300}{5} }} \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ 60 \ kmph }}

As We also know that Train maintained uniform speed for the whole journey.

We have to find the distance covered by Train in 8 hrs as Well.

  • Speed = 60 kmph
  • Time taken = 8 hrs

 \colon\implies {\tt{ Distance = Speed \times Time \ taken }} \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ 60 \times 8 }} \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ 480 \ Kilometres }}

Hence,

Train will cover 480 kilometres of distance in 8 hrs of Time interval.
