I have got a very good experience of this as our annual sports day got postponed due to rain.
There are various problems that we can encounter for conducting an annual sports day. They are:-
i) Ground
Of course, a ground is needed for the sports day to be conducted. Therefore, first we need to take the ground on rent. Secondly, the quality of the ground also matters. This is because if the ground's quality is not good, it will be very difficult for various conducting events.
ii) Funds
Without money nothing can be done. The same applies to this issue. There is a lot of spending which needs to be done on things like getting a ground and making the ground ready for the day.
iii) Basic Utilities
It means that there needs to be proper infrastructure for conducting the event. Thus, sometimes there can be problems regarding it.
iv) Weather Conditions
This thing in not in our hand. It is better to organize the event in a season when the place does not experience rain.
