industrial inertia describe Sa stage at which and industry prefers to run in its former location although the main alluring factors are gone for example the raw material sources is depleted for an energy crisis has emerged and industry may still like to stay in it's warmer position because of its fixed cost of fuel they also decide to stay in its former location if there is a linkage with other activities of the area or it is it is in a favourable location for transportation and there is a skilled labour force
