let the motion be represented by

x = Acos(wt)

given amplitude A = 5

w = (2× pi )/7 with periodic time T = 45

w = (2×pi)/4 = pi/2

Also X1 = 4cm

X2 = 2m

Let t = t4 for the displacement of 4m

4 = 5 cos((pi/2)×t4)

0.8 = cos((pi/2)×t4)

t4 = 36.83 / 90

For displacement of 2m let t = t2

2 = 5cos((pi/2)×t2)

0.4 cos((pi/2)×t2)

t2 = 66.5/90

time to travel from 4m to 2m

= t4 - t2

= 29.67/90

= 0.33
