in the procedure if chromatography many colours of dyes are substituted from one main dye which is made of many dyes.
for that first we should put a dot with chisel marker in the blotting paper and keep it in the surface of water. after some time you can notice that different dyes of different densities comes out from the black dot marked by chisel marker.
the applications of chromatography is that drugs can be separated and it is also used for urine tests and in diagnostic labs.

Chromatography a technique for the separation of a mixture by passing it in solution or suspension through a medium in which the components move at different rates.
The different components of the mixture travel through the stationary phase at different speeds, causing them to separate from one another.
The four main types of chromatography are:-
- Liquid Chromatography
- Gas Chromatography
- Thin-Layer Chromatography
- Paper Chromatography
