At the stage of sexual reproduction, a male and female gamete that will merge together to form of a new organism.

In addition to this, the two haploid cells are taking fuse together to form a diploid cell called as Zygote.

Moreover, the two haploid cells that will fuse to form cell called and takes place by sexual reproduction.

Process of fusion of haploid cell is known as fertilization.

Gametes are haploid cell. So, fusion of male and female gamete is called Fertilization.

After fusion of both haploid cells a diploid zygote forms. Zygote continue divides and forms Embryo.

Embryo implanted in uterus through the process implantation. After implantation embryo starts development. Such processes is known as Embryonic development. After completion of Embryonic development the foetus comes out from mother's uterus through the process Parturition.
