Meiosis- It is a type of cell division where a cell divides to form two haploid cells. It is seen during the asexual reproduction of yeast where a parent cell of yeast divides into two haploid daughter cells and the process continues.
Mitosis-It is type of cell division where a cell divides into two diploid cells. It is seen during sexual reproduction where the zygote formed after fertilization divides into two cells having same number and kind of chromosomes and the process continues to give rise to a new individual.
Hope i helped u.....:)
