Countries with the highest prodcution of wool are: 

1. Australia
2. New Zealand
3. Argentina 
4. South Africa
5. China
6. United Kingdom
7. USA

Above that, it can be found in big amounts in the following countries: 

India, Uruguay, Pakistan, Sudan, Russia, Turkey, Spain, Romania, Algeria, Portugal, France, Iran, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, etc.

Below, you can find a map showing the above-mentioned countries (only the biggest producers of wool).
