Given the product of two numbers = 1296
Also given that , one number is 16 times the other number
Let the other number be 'x' .
16 times of that number = 16×x = 16x
Now , Product of two numbers = 1296
       ⇒x×16x = 1296
       ⇒16x² = 1296
       ⇒ x² = 1296/16
       ⇒ x² = 81
       ⇒ x = √81 = 9
Therefore , the numbers are (x) = 9 ,
                                           (16x) = 16 × 9 = 144 .

Let X be the one number then the other number is 16 x according to the question:
16x * x =1296
16x^2=1296
X^2=1296/16
X^2=81
X=9
One number = 16*x=16*9=144
Other number =x=9
