Virus is known as Poisonous fluid because it is known that it is composed of only two things a protein coat and genetic material which can be D. N. A or R. N. A

Usually plant virus have their genetic material as R. N. A.

The first name of virus was contagium vivum fluidum and was discovered by Adolf Mayer in Tobacco Plant and he named that virus tobacco mosaic virus and give the name ToH the disease as mosaic karan kheti.

Later Dmitri Ivanowskii Performed an experiment and give the name virus.
