Answer:

14 (i) 450 rupees

(ii) 10%

15 (i) 225 rupees

(ii) 100/9 %

Step-by-step explanation:

14 (i) SP = 405 rupees ( Let CP be x )

ATQ,

=> x - 1x/10 = 405 rupees

=> 9x/10 = 405 rupees

=> x = 405 × 10/9

=> x = 450

(ii) L = 450 - 405

= 45

We know,

L% = L/CP × 100

= 45/450 × 100

= 10%

15 (i) SP = 250 rupees ( Let CP be x )

ATQ,

=> x + 1x/9 = 250 rupees

=> 10x/9 = 250 rupees

=> x = 250 × 9/10

=> x = 225 rupees

(ii) P = 250 - 225

= 25 rupees

We know,

P% = P/CP × 100

= 25/225 × 100

= 1/9 × 100

= 100/9 %
