Autobiography of River Ganges:
I am river Ganges. I am a holy river.I am worshiped by the Hindus and I am considered to be a sacred river.I flow through India and Bangladesh. I am the longest river in India.I am a perennial river. My basin has one of the most fertile soil in the world.I support the agricultural economy of India. Two main branches of my basin are Hooghly and Padma. But although you all benefit from me more you are pollute me very much in the name of rituals by throwing dead bodies in me and also plastics , wastes etc..
For this problem In 1985, the government of India launched the Ganga Action Plan to clean up me.But everything failed!
There is no need of any big help from the government but it's the need for every individual to stop polluting me!
Hope this helps!

I am ganga river. I rise from the Gangotri glacier in the Himalayas and cross the Siwalik range near Hardwar. , I was born from Gomukh. I was generated from the Himalayas. I flow from west bengal. My goal is to continue flowing till I meet the sea. This is the last phase of my journey. Here people have built ports and factories. This brings about a certain amount of pollution and impurities. In the upper course my water is pure without any impurities; but in the last phase of my journey I am unable to retain my purity on account human activity. Thus my journey is actually never comes to an end. I continue to flow eternally with an aim to be at the service of mankind for generations to come.
