Teams sit together without the distraction of computers and write the first draft of each scene by hand. later drafts are written with a text editor like MS Word. Not all scenes have to be written at the same time, but
teams hand in their completed scenes at the end of each lesson. Teams follow the sample script provided. The teacher comments and indicates the mistakes, after which the teams rewrite the scenes, correct the mistakes and act upon instructions. The teacher checks again.
The parts of the script that are approved are signed off by the teacher. The students can start recording those parts after verifying the pronunciation with the teacher. Teams write as many drafts as necessary; 3-4 drafts of scenes is not unusual.
Teams identify their script with class, date, team name and version number in the top right-corner of the page.
