Answer:

x+y=2

then x cube+ y cube + 6xy=?

we know that

a^3+b^3 = (a+b) (a^2- ab +b^2)

since x^3+y^3+6xy

=(x+y) (x^2- xy+y^2) +6xy

=2(x^2- xy+y^2)+ 6xy

=2x^2- 2xy+2y^2+6xy

=2x^2+4xy+2y^2

=2(x^2+2xy+y^2)

=2(x+y)^2

=2(2)^2

=2x4=8
