Proof: 1 = 2


Let to be greater Number b

Let to be Smaller Number a

Here, Given 1=2

So..it will be,


a = b

Squaring on smaller Number
a2 = ab


Now,

Subtracting by -b² on the both sides;


a2 - b2 = ab-b2



We know that Formula of Algebraic Expression which are (a²-b²)=(a-b)(a+b)

Taken common b from RHS


(a-b)(a+b) = b(a-b)

 \bold{( \cancel{a-b)}(a+b) = b( \cancel{a-b)}}


a+b = b


b+b = b


2b = b


2 = 1

Proof :-

We know that,

1.99999.... = 2

(1.99999....)² = 1.99999.... x 2

(1.99999....)² - 2² = 1.99999.... x 2 - 2²

(1.99999.... + 2) (1.99999.... - 2) = 2 (1.99999.... - 2)

1.99999.... + 2 = 2

2+2 = 2

4 = 2

4÷2 = 2÷2

2 = 1

therefore,

1 = 2
