Proper aeration should be provided during summer seasons when the air is clean and dry.

Whereas, the aeration in winter is to be prevented because at winter the air contains enormous amount of moisture and it has possibility of containing a wide number of contaminants.

This moisture laden air will contaminate the feed stock with fungal spores from the atmosphere.
