States involved: The 91 seats are spread across 18 states and two Union territories. The states and Union territories are: Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Explanation:

Electorate size: Nearly 14.21 crore people are eligible to vote in the 2019 Lok Sabha election Phase 1, for which voting is being held today. Of the 14.21 crore people, 7.22 crore are men and 8.99 crore are women.
