Properties of a compound are different from its constituents ,whlie a mixture shows the properties of its constituents .Justify this statamant taking the example of iron n sulphur.

in the mixture iron and sulphur retain their individual property as iron can be attracted by magnet and sulphur can be dissolved in carbon disulphide and they can be seen separately while in compound it is neither attracted by magnet nor dissolved in carbon disulphide
