2) Convex mirror always produces virtual and erect images. 3) The image formed by the convex mirror will be always diminished. When the outer surface is reflecting surface it is called convex mirror. they are always upright and not enlarged even when we move the object close to the mirror.

Concave lens :-

1. It is thinner at the centre and thicker at the edges.

2. It diverges the rays of light .

3. It only forms virtual and erect images.

4. It cannot be used as magnifying lens.
