The properties of prime numbers are given below;
1. These are those numbers which have not any divisor other than the number itself or 1.
2. The prime numbers should be greater than 1.
3. All prime numbers are natural numbers.
4. They don’t have any negative divisors like, 5 = (-1) * (-5), so -1 and -5 are divisors of 5. The important thing is according to the property, we can’t take negative divisors, so only positive ones should be taken in mind.

Answer:

Some of the properties of prime numbers are:

  • Every number greater than 1 can be divided by at least one prime number.
  • Every even positive integer greater than 2 can be expressed as the sum of two primes.
  • Except 2, all other prime numbers are odd. In other words, we can say that 2 is the only even prime number.
