Just remember f is force and is directly propotional to the product of mass and acceleration. In another words f is the mother and m and a are her sons or daughters. Like karan and arjun

That's not a proper derivation
The proper derivation comes from Newton's Second Law
But you need to know some basic calculus for that
Note: F=m×a is not Newton's second law. It's just a special case of that
The law is F=dP/dt , i.e. the first derivative of momentum with respect to time
In simple terms, F = ∆P/∆t, where ∆P is change in momentum
she did not ask for derivation just an easier way to learn a clear diff

force is directly proportional to mass and acceleration that is if the mass or the acceleration increases than the force acting will also increase and vice versa.
