opposite to AC (i.e) ZC ZB

Construction: Draw AD perpendicular to BC

.. ZADB = ZADC = 90°

Proof:

Consider AABD and AACD

AD is common

AB = AC

... ZADB = ZADC = 90°

Hence ZABD = ZACD

ZABC = ZACB

ZB = ZC. Hence the proof

This is known as Isosceles triangle theorem
