Hello dear

we can write (a+b)² as (a+b)(a+b)
so now do simple multiplication you will get

=> a²+ ab + ab + b² = a²+b²+2ab
= RHS.

similarly you can prove other than one .

Hi

my dear

here is ur answer

1] given

( a + b )² = a² + b² + 2ab

LHS

( a + b )²

= ( a + b ) ( a + b )

= a ( a+ b ) + b ( a + b )

= a² + ab + ab + b²

= a² + 2ab + b²

= a² + b² + 2ab

RHS

.°. LHS = RHS

====================================

2] ( a - b )² = a² + b² - 2ab

LHS

( a - b )²

= ( a - b ) ( a - b )

= a ( a - b ) - b ( a - b )

= a² - ab - ab + b²

= a² - 2ab + b²

= a² + b² - 2ab

RHS

.°. LHS = RHS
