Prove that : 1/secx-tanx - 1/cosx = 1/cosx - 1/secx + tanx

Answer:

1/(secx-tanx) - 1/cosx

= secx + tanx -secx

= secx - (secx-tanx)

= 1/cosx - (sec²x-tan²x)/(secx+tanx)

=1/cosx - 1/(secx+tanx)
