Answer:

Let 2 + V7 is rational number and it can be denoted in the form of p / q where q is equal not to 0 , and p, q are co prime number.

=> 2 + V 7 = p / q

=> V 7 = p / q - 2

=> V 7 = p - 2q / q

It contradict our assumption, 2 + V 7 is rational number..

We know the fact that V 7 is irrational number.

Therefore , 2 + V 7 is irrational number.
