Step-by-step explanation:

Step-by-step explanation:

2cos^2 theta + 2/1 + cot^2 theta = 2

2 cos^2 theta + 2/ cosec^2 theta = 2

( 1 + cot^2 theta is = cosec^2 theta)

2cos^2 theta + [1/cosec^2 theta ×2]=2

(As 1/cosec^2 theta = sin^2 theta)

2cos^2 theta + [sin^2 theta ×2] = 2

2cos^2 theta + 2sin^2 theta = 2

(Now we take 2 as common)

2[ cos^2 theta + sin^2 theta] = 2

(As cos^2 theta + sin^2 theta = 1)

2 [1] = 2

2 = 2

LHS = RHS

Hence proved.
