If ✓5 is irrational and it is multiplied with 2 which is rational then rational multiplied with irrational gives irrational so the term 2✓5 is irrational.

Then 3 is rational but 2✓5 is irrational then rational added with irrational give irrational , hence the whole equation is irrational.
