let 4-5 root2 be a rationl number
=>4-5 root 2 = a/b
= 4-a/b = 5 root2
= 4b-a/5b= root2
now if p is a positive prime then root p is irrational.
therefore root 2 is an irrational
hence 4-5root 2 is irrational.
