let us assume that 5-√3 Is rational so 5-√3=p/q where p and q are coprime and q is not equal to zero

5-√3=p/q

√3=p/q+5

√3= p+5q/q

since a and b are integers , we get 5-p/q is rational, and so √3 is rational

but this contribute that fact that √3 is irrational

the contribution has been arisen because of incorrect assumption that 5-√3 is rational

so, we conclude that 5-√3 is irrational

plz mark it as brilliant plz
