Hello !!

You can put two any numbers in the place of a and n and see if the equality is true in all sides of the equation.

a^-n = 1/(a^n)

2^(-1) = 1/(2^(-1))

2^(-1) = 1/(0.5)

0.5 ≠ 2

Therefore, we have the conclusion that the equality is FALSE.

I hope I have collaborated !
