Consider a circle with a cyclic triangle in a semicircle.

Let it be tri ABC,
with BC as the diameter

Now we know angle subtained by an arc at the centre is twice the angle subtained by it in the opp segment

By this angle subtained by the arc BAC

angle BOC=1/2 angle BAC
But angle BOC=180°
angle BAC=90°
Therefore angle in semicircle is 180°
