when we burn pure fuels like petrol and a complete combustion takes place, smoke and carbon dioxide are produced. Also the liquid portion evaporates into the air. Hence it is proved that carbon dioxide and water vapour are the products of burning fuels.

hope this helps...

Answer:

take a potted sapling covering it with a bell jar.

it in sunlight. After sometime remove the bell jar and bring a matchstick immediately. You'll notice the matchstick starts burning.

Explanation:

Sapling respires oxygen and give out carbon dioxide

hence carbon dioxide is the gas which supports burning
