Answer:

Let theta be A

LHS - tan A / tan A + sec A . sin A / cot A

1 + sin^2 A / cos^2 A

Taking on the LCM we get,

cos^2 A + sin^2 A / cos^2 A = 0

Using the identity,

cos^2 A + sin^2 A = 1

1 / cos^2 A = sec^2 A

RHS - sec^2 A

Hence proved
