since A is a subset of phi therefore it will contain only the elements of phi.

since phi possess no elements therefore A also do not possess any element .

Answer:

If A \subset \phi \: then \: A = \phi

Step-by-step explanation:

To prove A = \phi

we have to show :

i) A\subset \phi

and

ii ) \phi \subset A

Proof:

i )  A\subset \phi---(1)

/* given */

ii)\phi \subset A----(2)

/* We know that,

\phi is subset of every set */

/By Anti symmetric property */

We conclude that,

 A = \phi

Therefore,

If A \subset \phi \: then \: A = \phi
