let the angle formed be x

∠c= 180°-(∠a+∠b) by angle sum property of a triangle

ext.∠x = 180° - ∠c (linear pair)

⇒∠x = 180° -{ 180°-(∠a+∠b) }

⇒∠x = 180°- 180° + (∠a+∠b)

∴∠x = (∠a+∠b)

∴ The ext. angle equal to the sum of interior opposite angle​

hence proved
