as we know that every number multiply in an irrational number is an irrational number ( expect 0 and that number itself)

an average value of√2 is 1.414........

so multiply 1.414....,... with 4 .

4* 1.414......... = 5.656.......

we can see the is an irrational number

thus we can conclude that 4√2 is an irrational number .
