so, K.E=Work done

from the third equation of motions
v^2 - u^2=2as
suppose u=0
then,
v^2=2as
as=v^2/2.........(¡¡)
puuting (¡) in second equation
W=Mxv^2/2
hence K.E=1/2*M*V^2
